The authority for the Office of the State Fire Marshal to review the manufacturer’s construction plans of all modular buildings for compliance with Mississippi Fire Prevention Codes is granted under Section 75-49-9, Mississippi Code of 1972, Annotated. The State Fire Marshal’s Office is required to review all modular home construction plans that are submitted by any licensed modular building manufacturer. The fee for a modular home plan review shall be Four Hundred Dollars ($400.00) per floor plan and the payment must be included with the submittal of the request form. An invoice for the receipt of the payment will be returned to the person requesting the review.
