JACKSON, Miss. – The Mississippi Insurance Department (MID) is revoking the licenses of 59 insurance agents after they failed to appear at a hearing this week. The agents are accused of obtaining or maintaining a Mississippi resident producer license through material misrepresentation or false pretenses, in violation of state law. All 59 agents were served with a Notice of Hearing in June. Despite receiving notice, none of the agents appeared to refute the claims against them at the July 20, 2026, hearing in Jackson.
