JACKSON, Miss. – State Fire Marshal and Commissioner of Insurance Mike Chaney has appointed Kevin D. Butler as Chief Deputy Fire Marshal, overseeing the State Fire Marshal’s Office (SFMO), effective March 9, 2026.
